Polyolefins are a family of plastics derived from propylene and ethylene. They make up the highest volume of thermoplastic products in the world. They form tough, flexible plastics with a large variety of uses.
Research and development are increasing the variety of polyolefins. As a result, they are steadily replacing traditional materials in many applications. What’s more, polyolefins are generally easy to recycle.
